Besan Zeidan

Besan Zeidan has actively promoted extremist rhetoric, supported terrorism, and spread hate against Jews, America, and law enforcement. Her actions have contributed to a divisive and dangerous campus environment.

Besan Zeidan’s Support for Terrorism:

As of June 2024, Zeidan’s Twitter bio read, “Long live the resistance 🍉.” This phrase and symbol are often used to glorify terrorism and violence against Jews. In this context, “resistance” refers to violent actions justified by antisemitic activists.

Besan Zeidan’s Hatred of Jews, America, and the Police:

On May 22, 2024, Zeidan participated in “The People’s University Graduation Ceremony,” an alternative event for anti-Jews activists. During the ceremony, Zeidan cheered as another participant was awarded for being “most likely to shot put a Zionist,” normalizing hateful and extremely violent rhetoric.

On February 17, 2024, Zeidan spoke at an antisemitic rally in Philadelphia, where she accused the Philadelphia Police Department, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), and the Ku Klux Klan of working together to perpetuate “white supremacy.” She claimed these groups were “prioritizing profit over human life” and described their alleged collaboration as inherently violent and oppressive.

Besan Zeidan Promoting Antisemitism at a Disruptive Event:

On December 18, 2023, Zeidan led chants and delivered inflammatory remarks at a PPC rally titled “Shut It Down For Palestine.” The protest disrupted pre-Christmas shopping in downtown Philadelphia, with Zeidan accusing American taxpayers of funding genocide in Gaza.

During the event, she shouted: “Do you know what? Jews can take all your Christmas presents!” Her remarks were followed by crowd chants such as: “While you’re shopping, bombs are dropping!”

Violence Incitement During a Hamas War:

Between October 2023 and March 2024, Zeidan participated in at least ten antisemitic rallies in Philadelphia. At a rally on February 13, 2024, Zeidan stood on the main stage and chanted: “There is only one solution, intifada revolution!” and “Intifada! Intifada! Long live the intifada!”

The term “intifada” refers to violent Palestinian uprisings against Jews, characterized by attacks such as bombings, shootings, and stabbings. Zeidan’s vocal support for such violence underscores her extremist views, and support for killing.
