Krystal Strong

Krystal Strong, an assistant professor in the Education, Culture, and Society program at the University of Pennsylvania (Penn), has openly aligned herself with extremist ideologies and glorified acts of violence. Through her leadership roles, speeches, and public statements, Strong has consistently promoted dangerous rhetoric, undermining the values of peace and constructive dialogue.

Krystal Strong’s Voice for Violence

1. Founding Extremist Groups
As the founder of Police Free Penn, Strong led a group that endorsed a statement supporting acts of terrorism committed in October 2023. This organization has contributed to fostering divisive and hostile environments on campus, prioritizing ideological activism over the safety and well-being of the university community.

2. Glorifying Violence as Resistance
On October 7, 2023, Strong tweeted, “Do we have a duty to fight for our freedom or nah? Free Palestine.” This statement was posted in the immediate aftermath of mass atrocities, reflecting her willingness to justify and romanticize violence under the guise of resistance.

3. Comparing Terrorism to Domestic Violence
At a rally on October 8, 2023, Strong explicitly glorified the destruction and chaos caused by terrorist actions, comparing it to the burning of a police precinct during the George Floyd riots in May 2020. She stated, “When I saw those bulldozers tearing that mother f**king wall down, it felt like May 2020 to me when we saw a police precinct up in flames.” This rhetoric elevates destruction as a legitimate form of protest, encouraging divisive and dangerous behavior.

4. Propagating Extremist Narratives
At a December 3, 2023 rally, Strong claimed, “White supremacy…are one and the same” with specific ideologies, reinforcing divisive narratives that vilify entire groups and perpetuate hostility rather than fostering constructive discourse. Her inflammatory remarks continue to fuel tension and undermine social cohesion.

A Dangerous Influence in Academia

Krystal Strong’s actions and rhetoric exemplify a troubling pattern of promoting violence and glorifying extremism. Her platform as an educator is being used to spread dangerous ideologies, radicalize young minds, and erode the foundations of constructive dialogue. Far from contributing to an environment of education and growth, Strong has become a symbol of division and extremism in academia.
