Rally At Winants

On Thursday, April 24 at 11:30 AM, student activists will rally outside Winants Hall at Rutgers University during a scheduled Board of Governors meeting to push for full divestment from Israel and opposition to immigration enforcement.

Event Overview

Led by Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) and other Rutgers-based groups, this protest merges BDS demands with radical anti-Trump rhetoric. The rally is meant to directly confront Rutgers’ leadership for refusing to divest from Israel, accusing the university of “collaborating” with ICE, and perpetuating “genocide.”

Rather than working through lawful channels or debate, these activists are calling on students to escalate pressure, disrupt campus operations, and confront university leaders with demands that mirror far-left extremism and disregard federal partnership agreements.

Organizers’ Background

SDS and aligned groups have a history of endorsing aggressive tactics, anti-Israel boycotts, and inflammatory rhetoric against U.S. institutions. Their latest demands aim to push Rutgers into alignment with fringe ideologies that undermine public safety, international partnerships, and institutional integrity.
