Salam Al Kuntar is a Syrian-born archaeologist and Assistant Professor at the Department of Classics at Rutgers University. Her research focuses on the archaeology and heritage of the Middle East, with interests including ancient urbanism, modern identity, forced migration, and conflict-driven destruction.
