Johannah King-Slutzky, a Columbia University graduate student and instructor, has emerged as one of the most radical voices in the campus pro-terror movement. From defending the violent takeover of Columbia’s Hamilton Hall to disrupting a U.S. presidential speech, King-Slutzky has dedicated herself to justifying extremism and fueling anti-American and antisemitic activism. Despite her Jewish heritage, she has chosen to align herself with groups that glorify Hamas, vilify her own people, and promote hatred under the guise of “liberation.”
Johannah King-Slutzky Defending Violent Takeovers
On April 30, 2024, King-Slutzky stood at the center of the CUAD encampment, acting as the spokesperson for “The People’s University for a Liberated Palestine.” She publicly defended the mob that stormed and occupied Columbia’s Hamilton Hall, justifying their illegal actions by claiming they were protesting the university’s so-called “complicity.” Instead of condemning their violence, she warned Columbia’s leadership that if police intervened, “students’ blood will be on your hands.” By portraying campus extremists as noble revolutionaries, she encouraged chaos, criminality, and outright rebellion.
King-Slutzky’s rhetoric is particularly insidious because she deliberately downplays the nature of the Hamas-led attacks while positioning herself as a moral authority. In her press conference speech, she equated the armed takeover of a university building with the “daily resistance of Palestinians in Gaza.” The logic is clear: she sees Hamas’s brutality as resistance and students occupying a building as part of the same violent struggle.
Disrupting a Presidential Speech in the Name of Hamas
King-Slutzky is not just a campus agitator—she has also attempted to hijack national politics. On January 24, 2024, she and other extremists from the United Auto Workers (UAW) Labor for Palestine group disrupted U.S. President Joe Biden’s speech during a union meeting where he was receiving an endorsement for re-election. Holding up a Palestinian flag scrawled with “UAW Labor for Palestine,” King-Slutzky and her group chanted “Ceasefire now!” before being forcibly removed. Her stunt, though brief, was yet another example of her obsession with undermining American leadership in service of radical ideology.
Fueling Antisemitism While Pretending to Represent Jews
Perhaps the most disgraceful aspect of King-Slutzky’s activism is her role as a Jewish apologist for the most virulent forms of antisemitism. Rather than standing against Hamas and its genocidal mission, she lends credibility to those who justify Jewish slaughter. Her participation in CUAD, an organization that has openly cheered Hamas’s October 7 attacks, is a testament to her betrayal. Like other self-hating Jews who seek validation from the most extreme corners of the anti-Israel movement, King-Slutzky’s activism is not about justice—it’s about seeking approval from those who despise her own people.
A Professional Activist Disguised as an Academic
King-Slutzky has embedded herself within the academic world, using her role as an instructor to push her extremist agenda. As of February 2025, she is teaching in the English and Comparative Literature department at the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) while pursuing her PhD. Prior to that, in September 2024, she was listed as the instructor for Columbia’s “Contemporary Western Civilization” course, giving her a platform to indoctrinate students.
Before becoming a full-time agitator, she worked as a digital advisor for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-NY), an organization notorious for its ties to radical Islamists and its support for the Hamas-led Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement. With her background in media manipulation, it’s no surprise that she has become a mouthpiece for the most dangerous elements of the anti-Israel movement.
A Dangerous Ideologue Masquerading as an Educator
Johannah King-Slutzky represents a dangerous trend of radical activists infiltrating academia, using their positions to spread antisemitism, glorify terrorism, and destabilize institutions. From defending the occupation of Columbia’s Hamilton Hall to excusing Hamas’s atrocities, she has made it clear that her goal is not education but radicalization.
Her involvement in CUAD, her defense of violent campus takeovers, and her participation in disruptive national protests show that she is not simply a student with strong opinions—she is an extremist determined to undermine both American democracy and Jewish self-determination. By giving King-Slutzky a teaching position, universities are enabling a dangerous propagandist whose only mission is to turn young minds against truth, history, and morality.
